We imported this Fiat from the United Kingdom, but it has lived most of its life in Italy. It was exported from Italy to the UK in 2015. While in the UK it had been used primarily for company advertising and promotional activities.

 

The Fiat 500 Giardiniera is the estate/ wagon version of the regular Fiat 500 where length of the vehicle increased by almost 10 inches, it got a full length sunroof and larger brakes from the Fiat 600. The engine came from the standard Fiat 500 except it was turned on its side and placed in the rear below the cargo area. The North American market never got the Giardiniera, which I think is a shame because it surprisingly has a lot of space and gets looks everywhere you go in it. It has the standard "suicide" doors and the rear seats fold down easily. This is a no nonsense simple car to work on. It fires up quickly and runs/drives as it should. Top speed is 50-60 MPH and you can expect 45-50+ MPG. Its a great little around town car and you will sure to be the only one that has one in your town.
