1997 Land Rover Defender 110 Expedition Camping Rig

Peregrine Motors LLC is pleased to offer for sale our recently imported pre owned 1991 Land Rover Defender 90. If you are the purchaser and aren't local we are more than happy to refer you to our shipping partner who can make shipping to your doorstep a breeze. 

 

We imported this Land Rover from the United Kingdom. We bought this off of an estate in Ellon, UK (Aberdeenshire, Scotland). The previous owner used this Defender on his farm for the last couple of years. It has been well maintained mechanically but does needs some repairs to the bodywork and chassis. 

 

The previous owner had the following parts replaced:

 

- new brake calipers on the front and rear

- new brake master cylinder

- new brake discs front and rear

- new brake pads front and rear

- new battery

- light weight hood installed

- snorkel

- inner roll cage with outer mounts 

 

This Defender comes with two brand new outriggers that will need to be fitted as can be seen in the second to last photo. Also, the chassis itself needs a couple of patches and the passengers side bulkhead on the side in front of the door has a hole in it. It will also need a new drivers footwell as can be seen in the video, these can be purchased for around $100. It also needs a new section of the exhaust pipe. 

 

We purchased a certified copy of a factory record from the British Motor Industry Trust (as can be seen in the last photo) and this shows that the vehicle was originally delivered to "Land Rover Warranty", which could mean a number of things. This Land Rover is equipped with the 200TDI engine.
